NB Music Boosters say thank you |

To the editor:
The North Branch Music Boosters thank everyone who made the 2008 Swing Gala a great success. The event raised nearly $2,000 to promote music in the North Branch schools.
Thank you to the nearly 200 people who supported the event - students, parents, and community members. Everyone really got into the spirit and the 50s theme. Your poodle skirts, leather jackets, tee-shirts, sunglasses, hairstyles and other 50s attire made the evening very memorable.
Thank you to the Jazz bands and Harmonaires that provided great live entertainment and to Tauher Catering for the delicious dinner. Thank you for all who donated items to the silent auction. Thanks MaryHelen for your great pictures in the Review. And a big thanks to Tracy and Vernon Heinze, Footworks Dance Studio, for donating their sound system along with dance lessons and demonstrations.
