Lent Township has new logo PDF Print

logo1.jpgThe winner of the Lent Township Logo Contest is Michelle Johnson from North Branch. Johnson is a graphic designer who works from her home, where she also cares for her husband and two small children. Johnson said the inspiration for her design came while driving through the sloping hills on the east side of the township.

Lent Township Supervisor Gene Olson presented Michelle Johnson with her prize for the winning design.

There were 32 creative entries received for the contest. They came from budding young crayon artists, talented high school art students, as well as many professional designers.

logo3.jpgThe Lent Town Board Supervisors did the final judging for the contest at the February board meeting, and the new Lent Township logo was unveiled at the Annual Town Meeting on March 11. Johnson was on hand to receive her award and prize money.

Watch for the new logo (left) around town.
