Mental Health Fair March 6 |

TO THE EDITOR:
The parish nurses at North Branch United Methodist Church want to say thank you to all who contributed to the fair at NBUMC on March 6.
Our keynote speaker, Marcus Bachman, presented Overcoming Depression. Many members of the community received helpful information from the presentation. Jeanne Leland spoke on stress management, Cindy Rasmussen R.N. spoke on family/soldier stress. Don Moyer spoke from Hazelden and Tony Miltenberg spoke on goal setting. We had a great response from the community and feel we were able to reach many participants with education and materials from a variety of areas.
Pastor Chris Kneen has been instrumental in the parish nurse ministry with his support and guidance. This event was possible with a grant from the Methodist Conference Golden Cross grant fund.
