Apology from daffodil ladies |

TO THE EDITOR:
We have sold daffodils in this area for many years. We thought we were selling these big, beautiful yellow flowers that just bring Spring right into your home. However, we found out that they were just small scraggly blooms and that there were even some that did not open up at all. We are so sorry- what a disappointment. Would you please just consider it this year as a donation to the American Cancer Society. Hope next year they will be more careful at what they send us. There were those of you who came through and said that you had been healed of cancer - that word brings chills down our spine, yes, and there were those of you who have lost loved ones to cancer. Please accept our apology.
