To the editor:
Congratulations to recipient Phyllis Lindberg and to the NB Lions for bestowing upon her the Community Service Award of 2008. Steadfast in her Christian faith and strengthened by her family, she has dedicated her life to the beliefs, values and traditions of her church, her immigrant heritage, her community and her country through decades of service to many local organizations. She has been a role model for young and old to emulate and follow.
