According to a press release from the Chisago County Attorney’s Office, Jordan Michael Norring, age 27, formerly of Pine City was convicted by a Chisago County jury of first and second degree possession of controlled substance on March 18.
The jury deliberated for just over three hours following the one day trial. The charges stemmed from an October 23, 2007 traffic stop and investigation by North Branch Police where a large amount of methamphetamine was found in a vehicle driven by Norring. The case was prosecuted by Assistant Chisago County Attorney Jason Grussendorf.
