Veteran’s Service Office has new brochure |

Chisago County Veterans Services Officer Jim Halstrom has prepared a colorful booklet that includes much useful information for county veterans. The county commissioners received a copy of this booklet at the April 2 board meeting.
The information includes eligibility for veteran’s benefits, information about injuries while in service, veteran pensions for war era veterans, VA health care services, including dental, optical and hearing benefits and burial benefits.
There is also information and phone numbers of Minnesota Veterans Homes.
Also included is information on military records and discharge certificates.
The booklet includes national and regional resources as well as Web resources.
