Workforce development conference April 29-30 |

The Chisago County Housing Redevelopment Authority and the Economic Development Authority is cosponsoring a business and workforce development conference scheduled for April 29-30 at Grand Casino Hinckley.
With the theme “Putting High Tech to Work for You” the conference offers, but is not limited to the following sessions: e-commerce for artists, Information Technology and Industry - How industry is using IT now and in the Future, Virtual Reality Training, Global Positioning Systems and Tourism Efforts, DT High Tech Business Center, Bringing the Classroom to Your Business, Protecting your Work: IP 101 for Artists, How Trends in Technology Affect Communities and Economic Development Efforts, The Future of Software and High Tech and Security.
Keynote speaker at the April 29 luncheon is Dan Conroy, operations manager for Nexen Group, Inc.
Keynote speaker at the April 30 luncheon is Jack Uldrich, president of the NanoVeritas Group, an international leadership and technology consulting firm. He is a former naval intelligence officer and Defense Department official.
