Captains selected for next seasons Vikings hockey team PDF Print
The North Branch hockey team held its award banquet April 7 at the high school cafeteria and more than 70 players and their families were in attendance.

The varsity team finished the season 1-19. Their only win came against Pine City. (It was the Vikings first win against the Dragons in school history.)

During the season, the Vikings set the school record for most goals on average per game with 1.9 and registered two six-goal games, breaking the previous record of five.

Senior Jack Williams walked away from the program and banquet with several honors.

Williams career ended with him: having the most career varsity games played with 72, third all-time in points with 27, second all-time in goals with 14, third all time in assists with 13, and second all-time for goals in a season with 11.

In the meantime, Anthony Zengerle tied Nate Obitz, class of 06, with the most assists in a game with three against Pine City.
