Harris First Responders are now the proud owners of an ambulance and some new and needed equipment. Last
Friday, the Harris Fire Department took possession of the 2004
ambulance donated by Lakes Region EMS and the following equipment
purchased with a donation by Lake Area Bank, Harris branch: portable
suction devise, Hare traction splint and blood pressure kit with three
different size arm bands.
The Harris Fire Department now has
16 trained First Responders. On hand for the delivery were Kerry Degan,
paramedic with Lakes Region EMS, Mark Stevens, Harris Fire Department
and First Responder, Tim Cropper, Assist Fire Chief, Harris Fire
Department, and Sue Meyers and Pearl Stevens with Lake Area Bank.
