Many boys claimed first place finishes at the meet. Senior Jared Grams, claimed first place in the 100 with a time of 12.20 and first in the 200 with a time of 24.96.

Junior Ryan Norman won the 800 in 2:14 while Mike Heidelberger won the mile in 5:28.

Sophomore Brian Grand took first in 300 and 110 hurdles.

St. Francis

On April 17, the girls ran in the St. Francis Invitational and took third out of seven teams with 77 points.

The girls competed against Andover, Chisago Lakes, Cooper, Rogers, St. Francis and Spring Lake Park .

“Our distance runners really ran well and had some excellent times for this time of the year,” Hasleiet said. “Our field events need to get better and we need to work on our handoffs but those will get better because we have so many young girls on this team. We just want to keep improving each meet.”

The boys team also competed at the St. Francis Invitational on April 19. They finished third out of 10 teams with 90 points.

TJ Leason won the high jump, finished third in the 400 and was on the winning 4x200 relay team.
