TO THE EDITOR:
What a sad state of affairs and discontentment this country is in ...
I remember the good old days when you worked hard with no electricity and no running water. Everything is moving too fast. The hard work is gone and we have a wealthy class and a poor class of people. It would be great to have dance halls back for all ages where people went to have fun, not to get intoxicated or high but to dance and visit and meet new people. Perhaps the younger generation would like to polka and the exercise would help maintain their health.
We need to focus on getting back to the good times in this stress filled world. Another big issue is to get come assistance for the working class people that have never learned how to budget their money. There are many organizations out there for the wealthy class of people to invest their money through a well salaried financial advisor but nothing for people that are losing their homes and vehicles.
It would be great if there could be a tax salaried advisor to help these working class people learn how to budget in each and every community.
With the taxes being paid now a small percentage could cover this situation. The programs I see available are very expensive and the people I see are living paycheck to paycheck.
