Orraine Burdette Clark, age 77, passed away on May 1, 2008 at her home in Harris, Minn. She was born December 6, 1930, in Effington, South Dakota. The fourth of six children born to Ingman and Birdie (Nelson) Olson.
She married Fred Clark June 27, 1958. They were parents to two sons and a daughter and lived in Mahtomedi, Minn., most of their married life until moving to Harris, Minn., in July 1987.
She was an avid reader, loved working in her flower gardens, and was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a keen memory, a good sense of humor, and enjoyed conversations with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Fred Clark of Harris, Minn., son, Daniel (Jilleen) Clark of Harris, Minn., daughter Kimberly (Mike) Anderson) of Pine City, Minn., five grandchildren; Nicole (Justin) McCullors, Cameron Clark, Megan (Andrew) Halvorson, Brent Clark, Taylor Clark; three great-grandchildren; Cameron Jr., Ellie Sue, Lula; sister Beryl Palmer, brothers Gary and Gale Olson; sisters-in-laws Peg Olson and Barb (Richard) Goodrich, as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Beverly Palma, her brother Omar Olson, and her eldest son Dennis Clark.
Orraine will be terribly missed by her family and many friends.
A funeral service was held on May 8, 2008 at the Fish Lake Lutheran Church of Stark with Reverend Dale Stiles officiating. Music was provided by LaDonna Olson. Family sharing was read by grand-daughter, Bridgette Anderson. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City - Olson Chapel.
