A week after North Branch gymnastics coach Susie Toohey resigned from her head coaching duties, the school district has found an interim replacement.

Holly Saunders has been named the interim head gymnastics coach for the remainder of the season.

“She is no stranger to North Branch gymnastics having been a member of the team in high school and then serving as assistant coach for 12 years and head coach for three years” Activities Director Becky Leuer said.

“We are pleased that we were able to find an experienced and high school certified coach to take charge of the program on short notice. We are thankful that both Holly and her place of employment, Vanpro, Inc., were flexible and made this possible,” Leuer said.
