Folks were celebrating the 10th anniversary of the opening of the trail that runs from the southern county line to North Branch. On hand for the party was Congressman Jim Oberstar along with local legislators Sen. Rick Olseen and Rep. Jeremy Kalin, County commissioner Ben Montzka, members of the Chisago County Parks and Trails board and county park director Laird Mork.

Cake and root beer was served before a small entourage ook off down the trail for a 10-year commemorative ride.
