The 17th Almelund Apple Festival is set for Sunday, Sept. 19, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

The Rush City American Legion and Auxiliary will meet Monday Sept. 13 for the first meeting of the 2010-11 year. The hope is that everyone will attend. Bring a favorite dish for the potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Rush City Community Center.
