The North Branch boys hockey team defeated Minneapolis West 8-4, Feb. 16. The Vikings boys team is now tied for first in the Two Rivers Conference with a 10-2 conference and 14-7-3 overall record. (Moose Lake Area is listed first in the Two Rivers Conference with a 12-2 record.) The North Branch boys hockey team will next travel to face Robbinsdale Cooper (non-conference, with a 6-16-1 overall record) at New Hope Arena at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.

The North Branch wrestling team ended its team season with a 54-12 loss, to Milaca in the quarterfinals of the Section 7AA Team Championships, after it defeated Rush City/Braham 45-27 in the first round, Feb. 16. The Viking wrestlers will next compete in the Section 7AA Individual Wrestling Championships to be held at North Branch High School beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26 and 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.

The Rush City/Braham wrestling team ended its team season with a 45-27 loss, to North Branch in the first round of the Section 7AA Team Championships, Feb. 16. The Tiger wrestlers will next compete in the Section 7AA Individual Wrestling Championships to be held at North Branch High School beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26 and 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.

The Pine City/Rush City boys hockey team defeated Minneapolis West 4-2, Feb. 13. The Dragon boys team is now ranked sixth in the Two Rivers Conference with a 4-9 conference and 8-16 overall record. The Pine City/Rush City boys hockey team will next host Sauk Rapids-Rice (non-conference, with a 11-10-1 overall record) at Pine City Arena at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.
