During the November County Board the LS Power legal staff provided
direction to the Chisago County on how to direct the Power Plant
Citizens Task Force and unfortunately this direction appeared to be
taken to heart by the county attorney.

economies of New York and Minnesota and told the citizens of Chisago
County that New York had things right and Minnesota (i.e. Governor Tim
Pawlenty) had things dead wrong because, at the time...

Protesters, a disingenuous politician and a frightened trio of County
Commissioners. The proposed peak power plant has caused quite a stir in
Chisago County.
Thank you for the time spent on the proposed power plant thus far.
After several recent meetings, I feel compelled to comment further. It
is clear that the Chisago County Board of Commissioners (Board) needs
help to determine whether or not we encourage LS Power to build a very
large power plant in the county.
This year’s program was very successful. Over 170 volunteers helped
make it possible; and hundreds more donated gifts and money. Thank you
to each of you for brightening a child’s holiday and lightening a
parent’s burden. In a thank you card from a parent “There will never
be enough words to explain the burden lifted from this mother.”
