No, this tale was not of a fateful trip; it was about that ever-inquisitive monkey, Curious George. Before the North Branch Concerts in the Park performance at Central Park Thursday, North Branch Police Chief Dan Meyer read “Curious George’s Dinosaur Discovery,” and numerous area children grabbed copies of the book that were available and followed along with Meyer. The Concerts in the Park series in North Branch Central Park will feature Good Timin,’ a classic rock and country band, Thursday, 6:45 to 9 p.m. The storybook reader will be Dan Meyer, chief of the North Branch Police Department. This is a smoke-free, family-friendly event. The North Branch Area Lioness Club will provide concessions.
