City politicians and staff, Chevrolet employees and an abundance of others were on-hand Thursday for the grand opening of North Branch Chevrolet’s new building. North Country Coffee provided an ample amount of food for attendees to enjoy, and the quintessential oversized pair of scissors (right) was used to slice through a ribbon to mark the occasion.

The sweet aroma of barbequed fare wafted out of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in North Branch just prior to its grand opening Thursday morning. The business has been open for about two months, but now it’s fully operational after the grand opening and ready to serve many more hungry customers.
